Lombok island is one of the names of island in the Indonesia just like Bali island for the example. Lombok island is becoming increasingly well known for the beautiful natural landscape. Tourism in the Lombok island seem more fresh than Bali island because of the existence of new tourism in Lombok island lately. Lombok Island is located on the east side of the island of Bali and has an area of 5,435 km2. Lombok island has many white sandy beach tourism because the entire of area is surrounded by water. One of the famous beaches in Lombok island is Senggigi beach.
In the northwest of Lombok island, there are three islands that make attention for many travelers. Those three islands are Gili Terawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. To reach this area, it takes about 30 minutes by boat from the main of Lombok island. The three islands are notorious for having outstanding natural scenery is beautiful and very suitable to spend holidays. The three islands has beach which has clear water, white sand, coral and ornamental fish very much. Those is the reason why the three island is said to have outstanding natural beautiful. Gili terawangan island is a island which is located in the furthest from two others island. Gili Terawangan island also becomes the biggest and the most often visited from the two others. Many kinds of tourism activity in this island are scuba diving, snorkeling, playing canoe, and surfing. The another fascination in this island is a good place for enjoy both sunset and sunrise. Beach inGili Terawangan island facing to east and west at close range, so it has a place to enjoy both sunrise and sunset in one spot. 2. Gili Meno
Location of the Gili Meno island is between Gili Trawangan and Gili Air. Like the two other islands, Gili Meno also makes marine tourism as its main tourism. The natural feel of a tropical beach became the main treat in the Gili Meno island. In west side of Gili Meno island are Air lake which is surrounded by mangrove forests. In the mangrove forests there are various types of birds and eagles like to be king of the jungle. The best time to visit this island is from April to August. There is no retribution for ticket to the Gili Meno island.
3. Gili Air
Gili Air island is the most suitable place to travel with family. Local residents in the Gili Air is the most many from the two others islands. Despite being in the middle of the sea, there are quite complete facilities which is owned such as hotels, inns, restaurants, cafes and places of worship. Enjoying nautical tourism with the family will be something valuable.
